From Pinterest to Scrapbook Page

I have a Pinterest board called “Project Inspiration”. This is where I keep those images that inspire me in terms of color and design. I’ll go to that pin board when I’m at a loss for ideas for my layouts. The doily table runner image from my pin board inspired me to create a scrapbook layout using the doily table runner as inspiration for the layout background.

I grabbed my cutting machine and my favorite doily image in this digital kit:

I used the welding function in my Silhouette software to create a similar look to the table runner from patterned paper. The patterned paper and embellishments used are from my JBS Mercantile August Scrapbooking Kit and I cut the welded doily image from one of the gorgeous papers in the kit.

Here’s the finished layout. I used some of the negative pieces from the cutting file on the right hand side of the layout.
